Karlamilyi National Park (formerly Rudall River National Park) is a national park in the Pilbara region of Western Australia (Australia), northeast of Perth. It is the second largest national park in Australia and one of the largest in the world. Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory is the largest national park in Australia with an area of . The area was traditionally Martu country, which they call ''Karlamilyi''. The park is situated between the Little Sandy Desert and the Great Sandy Desert and includes the catchment area of the Rudall River. Rudall River was originally named by Frank Hann who was one of the first Europeans to explore the area. He named the river after another explorer and surveyor, William Frederick Rudall.
